Team India’s bowlers dominated the Bangladesh batsmen and wrapped up their batting lineup at 127, in which Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy picked 3-3 wickets each and Hardik Pandya, Mayank Yadav and Washington Sundar picked 1-1 wicket each and one of their batsmen got run out. So India needed 128 runs to win when India’s two openers Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson came out to bat, Abhishek Sharma was only dealing in boundaries and gave a perfect quick start before he got run out on his wrong call. India chased down this total in a very quick time of 11.5 overs and scored 132-3, with the contribution of every top order batsman playing quick knocks with Abhishek Sharma scoring 16(7), Sanju Samson 29(19), Suryakumar Yadav 29(14), Nitish Reddy 16(15), Hardik Pandya 39(16). These small contributions helped India chase a total of 128 by Bangla in just 11.5 overs. Arshdeep Singh was the Player Of The Match for his exceptional bowling performance by taking 3 crucial wickets with an economy of 3.7.
