Happy birthday to First Indian Cricketer to Score a Test Century

Lala Amarnath Bharadwaj was the first batsman ever to score a century for India in Test cricket. He was independent India’s first cricket captain and captained India in the first Test series win against Pakistan in 1952. He played his debut match against England in 1933 on the Bombay Gymkhana grounds in South Bombay. He was the father of two former Indian cricketers
