India vs Bangladesh 2nd test match of the series started on 27th September, where Rohit Sharma, Indian team captain won the toss and decided to Bowl first. On the day India bowled a total of 35 overs in which Bangladesh’s score was 107-3, and the match was interrupted due to bad light and later carried by the rain, so the Day 1 of the 2nd test match got stumped at 107-3. Due to the bad weather, heavy rain, and wet outfields Day 2 and Day 3 of the second test match got stumped without even a bowl getting bowled. The match started on Day 4 with everyone believing that the match would be a draw there was no chance of getting a result to this match. But with the end of the Day 4 of the second test between India and Bangladesh, many records were shattered and a belief of getting a result of this test match was made. Day 4 started with Bangladesh 107-3 in their first innings, they scored 233 and Mominul scored a century and helped his team to reach a good total. But the real entertainment started when team India led by captain Rohit Sharma came to bat in the second session of Day 4, team India and captain Rohit Sharma were determined and were not ready to draw the match, so the intent was very clear to play an aggressive form of cricket, in this innings team India shattered many test records by scoring the fastest team fifty in a test match in just 3 overs. The intent of the whole team was very clear to hammer the Bangladeshi bowlers on every bowl and they scored the fastest team 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 in the history of test cricket. In the second innings, India scored 285-9 and declared the innings and this was also the first time when a team declared their innings within 50 overs, India now also holds the record for best average in a test innings which is above 8 runs per over. In this inning, Virat Kohli also achieved his milestone and became the fastest batsman to score 27000 runs in international cricket. After the declaration, India was in a lead of 52 runs, when Bangladesh came to bat for the 3rd innings on day 4 with some overs left. India’s intentions were clear to win the match they were not ready to settle for a draw so when the Bangladeshi team came to bat India showed an attacking field and at the end of day 4 India was able to pick 2 Bangladesh wickets and the score at the end of Day 4 was 26-2 with India still in a lead of 26 runs.
