India vs South 2nd T20i: South Africa won by 3 wickets.
India travels to South Africa for a 4-match t20i series, starting from 8th November that is Friday. On 8th November both the teams were up against each other for the 1st match of the series in which South Africa won the toss and decided to Bowl first in response India scored a total of 202 runs in return South Africa was only able to make 141 runs and India won the match with a good margin of 61 runs. India and South Africa were up against each other yesterday, that is 10th November Sunday for the second T20 match. In the second match also South Africa captain Aiden Markram won the toss and chose to field first. Indian batters struggled to bat on this field and were only able to score 124 runs India was able to reach this total with the help of anchoring innings played by Hardik Pandya who scored a slow 39 runs off 45 balls on a tricky pitch. South Africa only required 125 runs to win the match and equal the series, the South African batsmen looked comfortable against the Indian pace bowling but the twist came in the match when Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav introduced spin into attacks, the bowl started spinning and the South African batsmen started struggling playing against them and started losing wickets. Indian spinner Varun Chakravarthy brought the team back into the low-scoring game by picking up 5 wickets haul in a T20i match and getting the equation down to 86-7 in the 16th over and South Africa still needing 39 runs on 26 balls with Tristan Stubbs and Gerald Coetzee in the middle except for Varun Chakravarthy 5 wickets haul only Arshdeep and Ravi Bishnoi were able to pick up 1-1 Wicket each which wasn’t enough to take the team to a win as in the death overs when again the pacers were brought back into the attack the South African batters seems comfortably scoring runs and achieved the target of 125 in which Tristan Stubbs scored 47 runs of 41 balls and Gerald Coetzee scored 19 runs of 9 ball taking there team over the line and winning the match for the team by 3 wickets and 6 balls remaining which also helped them to equal the series 1-1 and ended India’s 11 match winning streaks in T20i. Tristan Stubbs was the Man of the Match for his performance of 47 runs on a tricky pitch.
