Vinesh Phogat Made India Lose A Gold Medal In The Paris Olympics.

Yogeshwar Dutt, the bronze medalist from London Olympics 2012 stated that it was wrong to celebrate the return of Vinesh Phogat after the Paris Olympics 2024. The sudden disqualification of Vinesh Phogat from the gold medal match was shocking news for Every Indian participant in the Paris Olympics 2024. The disqualification of the wrestler was done as she was found 100 grams overweight before the weighing round for the final match for the gold medal. Vinesh was seen at a protest against the Wrestling Federation of India Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh last year, who has been accused of sexual harassment by 7 female wrestlers mentioned in the FIR. After her return from the Paris Olympics, she and Bajrang Punia, two of the important faces in the protest, have joined the congress party and Vinesh will be fighting the Haryana assembly election from Julana.
