Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir Interviewed Each Other Before The Bangladesh Series.
Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir, the newly appointed head coach of India, interviewed each other before the upcoming Bangladesh series starting on 19 September, Thursday, which is the first test assignment for Gautam Gambhir as a head coach. Both the men can be seen interviewing each other in a video released by the BCCI. During the IPL season due to a few situations both are portrayed as rivals but now Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have come up together and have put an end to all the ‘masala’ revolving around their on-field arguments for years. Both Delhi boys have multiple on-field arguments during the Indian Premier League dividing their fan bases on social media. As we know both Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli played an important role in the 2011 World Cup, which helped the team to win the World Cup are again sharing the same dressing room but now as players and coaches of the Indian cricket team, so BCCI decided to end all the rumors regarding them through an interview. In the interview video posted by BCCI on their social media handle, we can see Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli poking each other for various on-field arguments they have with the opponent’s team player. This question was asked by Virat Kohli to Gautam Gambhir asking him about the zone he likes to be in if he had an on-field argument with an opponent player.
Virat Kohli: When you are batting and have an argument with the opponents do you feel like this might carry on and let you go out of the zone and potentially get out, or does it put you in a more motivated position?
Gautam Gambhir: You have had more on-field arguments than me. I think you can answer this question, better than I can.
Virat Kohli: I am also looking for someone who agrees with what I have to say. I am not saying that it is wrong. At least someone should say, yes this is what happens.
As we know Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli played an important role in the success of the 2011 World Cup. Now they are together again with new roles, hoping to take Indian cricket to new heights.
