The 38-year-old player Shikhar Dhawan posted a video on social media thanking his fans and supporters and announced his retirement after representing India in all three formats since making his ODI debut in 2010 against Australia in Visakhapatnam and moving forward towards his next chapter in life he further mentioned he feels proud to represent his country and perform whenever he got the chance and feel no regret in his heart. As he announced his retirement all the big cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandey, Jasprit Bumrah, and many more players showed their gratitude through their social media handles and wished him the best for his next innings.

The Delhi-born boy faced many hard times at the start of his career he got out on a duck in his debut match, and made a strong comeback in 2013 and won the ICC Player of the Tournament award in India’s winning campaign 2013 Champions trophy, then he fixed his place in all three formats of the game he also scored the fastest test century on his debut in 85 balls and he scored magnificent 185 run which was a highlight to his career. Shikhar Dhawan is known for his aggressive batting style, powerful boundary-hitting, and iconic opening partnership with Rohit Sharma. He is also called Mr. ICC for India as he always performs in ICC tournaments for India or is a man of big moments.
